You can expect the Grand Cherokee 4xe to offer tremendous performance while remaining environmentally friendly as it has a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Its 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine pairs with two electric motors to produce 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. You will have three driving modes to choose from, including the Hybrid Mode, Electric Mode, and E-Save Mode. The Hybrid Mode engages gasoline and electric motors for maximum performance, while the Electric Mode only uses the electric motor for almost zero emissions. However, the E-Save Mode only uses the 2.0-litre engine to conserve battery power for later use. With this powertrain, the Grand Cherokee 4xe has a total driving range of 708 kilometres, while it can drive 40 kilometres on electric power only.
